Yo! It’s October again, and just because I celebrate EVERYTHING, I’m celebrating the four year anniversary of my “Needs Are…” list.
I randomly started blogging this monthly list in 2014 as a way to keep track of all the things I wanted to buy and swipe my card on and to keep you in the know with all of my favorite items! I can’t believe it’s been four years already!
Now, honestly I haven’t compiled one of these lists in FOREVER (sorry!) and I’ve been toying with the idea of letting these posts make a return.
Timing is everything and I figured it’s the perfect time to relaunch this section of the blog and continue sharing the amazing products and items I find.
So without further ado…
My October Needs Are…
Sephora Metallic Mattes – When I say I’m in love, believe it! I was supposed to be looking for foundation when I stumbled upon these beauties. Perfect for the fall, these Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipsticks are so bossy! I love the fact that I get a good matte lip with a little metallic shine. I got colors 58 (the wine colored one), 106 (the peachy hued one) and 64 (the metallic red) and have already been pairing them with just about every outfit. Matte + metallic? A genius combination!
Linen spray – I got a bottle of lavender linen spray for my birthday last year and I’ve been so stingy with using it because it’s so good, I don’t ever want it to end. I hadn’t realised the power of literally freshening your sheets right before bed. Misting the mixture of essential oils on my sheets and pillow right before I doze off helps me to sleep like a baby…and it smells so good!
Insulated stainless steel tumbler – I do not leave home without my tumbler and if I do, I turn around for it! This thing keeps my drinks cold for hours; even in a hot car, even when I’ve forgotten it was sitting on my back seat! I absolutely love my tumbler and as a girl on the go who needs to get in my recommended water intake, this is perfect for me! But am I really drinking water all day or, is it 5 o’clock somewhere? lol!
Foreign coffee – Now y’all know your girl is a tea drinker! I listed my fave brews in this article I wrote for XONecole, but recently I’ve been to two countries known for their amazing coffees and I’ve fallen in love! I brought bags of grounded goodness from both Costa Rica and Cuba and I think I have a growing addiction to collecting foreign coffee. I’ve tried the Costa Rican coffee so far and it’s so delicious; and if you know anything about Cuban coffee this about to be lit too!
